The club's AGM was held in Hartes on Friday May 8th 2009.
Although attendance could have been better, those who were there were treated to a fine presentation by Tom Cunningham and Pat McHugh on the club's current situation. TC opened the meeting with a quick run through of what had taken place both on and off the field since the last AGM. While there have been plenty of happy occasions there have been a number of sad events over the past few years to be reflected on.
The club has continued to grow, the highlight being the development of the astro turf pitch. There has also been success on the field especially at under-age level.
Pat McHugh went through the club's balance sheet and highlighted a number of initiatives that have saved money for the club as well as pointing out the high cost of running a club. The community lotto continues to be an invaluable source of club funds as well as the sponsorship of the various teams by local businesses.
Tom Cunnigham was returned unopposed as chairman as was Pat McHugh as secretary. Bernie Clarke has agreed to take on the role of treasurer while Fergal Donlon has vowed to keep the website updated.
