
~ CODE OF CONDUCT ~
YOUTH PLAYERS SHOULD -
- Play fairly, do their best and enjoy themselves.
- Represent their family and the club with pride and dignity.
- Co-operate fully with Manager’s & Coaches.
- Show respect for officials and accept their decisions gracefully.
- Show respect for fellow team members giving them support and encouragement at all times.
- Respect their opponents and shake hands with their opponents before and after the game irrespective of the result.
- Accept apologies from opponents when they are offered.
- Respect facilities within their own ground and away grounds.
- Let the team management know when they are unavailable for training or competition.
- Approach an officer of the club with any questions or concerns they may have or alternatively have their parent(s) / guardian(s) do so.
- Present themselves for matches in appropriate club colours, i.e., black togs & black socks.
- Ensure that they wear shin-guards for both training and competitive matches (Compulsory)
- Bring their own drink – in the interest of Health & Safety the club are giving Players Water Bottles.
YOUTH PLAYERS SHOULD NOT –
- Cheat - always play by the rules.
- Should not argue with any official, manager etc.
- Spread rumours.
- Bully or take unfair advantage.
- Tell lies about adults or other children.
- Use foul or abusive language.
COACHES / MANAGERS SHOULD –
- Lead by example – never shout or abuse any player under their instruction.
- Develop skills of players within the club
- Ensure proper training aids and facilities are available to players
- Ensure that Match Footballs / Medical Kits / Jerseys & Water are available at all fixtures.
- Incidents of bullying or abuse must be reported to the Children’s Officer & Club Committee.

SUPPORTERS SHOULD –
- Show respect for officials, opponents and all other club members.
- Never shout or abuse any player or opponent involved in a fixture.
