Glen Celtic has purchased a defibrillator with the aid of a very generous sponsorship of €1,000 from local businessman Gerry Fallon which has been installed in the clubhouse located at Church St , Glenamaddy. At present there are five club members trained in the use of the defibrillator namely Brendan Mee, Tom Cunningham, Micheal Molloy, Sean Molloy & Pat McHugh the intention is to ensure that all teams playing with the club from Youth level through to Senior Level will have a minimum of three fully trained operators and therefore more training is going to be scheduled in the very near future. This will ensure that we have fully trained personnel at every club fixture both home and away who will be trained in CPR and the use of the defibrillator. The club would like to thank Gerry for his very generous donation.
